Executive Team

RICK DOUSMAN/Owner/Partner/President-Rick has spent 35+ years with GDHWD & Eberle; prior to that he was a retail sales representative for Texaco, Inc. working in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Rick graduated from Bradley University in 1969. For well over three decades he has been instrumental in helping hundreds of manufacturer’s develop and strengthen their sales and marketing plans thereby helping them to grow their businesses in the GDHWD & Eberle territory. Rick is currently working closely with Ace Hardware and Walgreens.

REED EBERLE/Owner/Partner/Vice-President-In 1988, Reed joined his father George Eberle in their family business Eberle Sales. Ten years later, The Eberle Group merged with GDHWD, Inc. to form GDHWD & Eberle, Inc.  Reed works with Ace Hardware, Menards, Sears/KCD, The Home Depot, and True Value.  Outside of being a sales account manager, Reeds past experience includes managing Rapid Retail, a dedicated Midwest Home Depot service company, and he also served as President of the Midwest Retailers and Manufacturers Association.

JOHN LINK/Owner/Partner/Vice-President-After a 10 year career and a Masters degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering from University of Illinois John joined GDHWD in June of 1992. For the past 19+ years John has built his business based on hard work & integrity. John's solid business relationships with his customers and vendors has been key to his success. Johns product knowledge and understanding is pivotal to his success.  John today works with Grainger, Sears Holding, Walgreens, and True Value.

  TOM STINEMAN/Owner/Partner/Vice- President- Tom joined the company in August of 1985 after graduating from Saint Leo University. Tom has served as President for the Housewares Club of Chicago (currently known as MRMA) on many other committees. Tom today works in most classes of trade including Meijer, True Value, Sears Holding, Ace Hardware, and Do It Best.

BRETT GERN/SALES-Brett started his career with Home Depot in 1993 and opened the first 2 Home Depot stores located in the Midwest as the Department Manager in Hand/Power Tools and Lawn & Garden. Brett joined Eberle Sales, Inc. in 1996 as the Midwest Divisional Service Manager and became a co-owner of Rapid Retail, a dedicated Home Depot service group responsible for setting and servicing over 300 HD Stores.  Currently Brett is a Junior Partner in our agency and has sales responsibility in Wisconsin, with focus on Blain, Mill and Menards, in addition to Ace Hardware and True Value.

Sales

CHIP HERNDON/SALES- Chip has spent 25+ years in the retail industry. His early years were spent in Grocery, then as a buyer for one of the Wholesale Clubs. For the past 20 years his focus has been in Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, and has served as a VP in that capacity for two seasonal products manufactures. Through this experience he has gained a strong working knowledge of manufacturing, and what it takes to get objectives accomplished within China. Chip's key account responsibility include: Aldi, Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Costco, and Sam's Club.

Account Specialists

JOE GRAY/Account SpecialistJoe graduated from Indiana University and received his M/P/A from Roosevelt University and joined Tractor Supply as the National Hardlines Merchandise Manager. In 1977, Joe started his own rep firm and soon thereafter became associated with Jack Krueger to establish Gray, Krueger & Associates. In 1998 Joe merged his company with GDHWD & Eberle, Inc.  Joe remains active with the co-op's, Ace and True Value & Do It Best, and also works with Orchard Supply.

PETER J HANNON/Account SpecialistAfter attending the the University of Dayton, Peter joined Grossman, DeBartolo & Associates in 1960. In 1970 Peter was made a partner and the company's name was changed to Grossman, DeBartolo, Hannon & Associates. Peter has worked closely with Sears Holding and True Value over his career.

Operations/Assistants

Peggy Geslicki/Executive Assistant and Office Manager-Peggy brings over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing representative industry.  Peggy joined GDHWD & Eberle in 1998 with the merge of Gray, Krueger & Associates.  Peggy has a degree in graphic arts and continues her computer knowledge with PC and Mac.  Peggy works on the Grainger account in assisting with proposal/presentation prep, maintains service related pricing, specifications, and communication both internal and external.  She interfaces between all assistants and salespeople as a communication focal point within GDHWD & Eberle.

KATTY RODRIGUEZ/Executive Assistant-Katty started with GDHWD & Eberle in May of 2002. She has experience being in the Hardware/Home Improvement Industry since 1992 and has performed on both the retail and vendor side of the business.   Katty works with Ace Hardware, Menards, Home depot, prince, True Value, Walmart, Costco and various other customers.

Maria Smith/Sales Assistant-Maria joined GDHWD & Eberle in April 2013.  She provides administrative assistance, customer service & sales support for Ace Hardware, True Value, Do It Best, and Menards.  Before Joining GDHWD & Eberle, Maria worked for 2 years in the hospitality business.

Meghan McLaughlin/Sales Assistant-Meghan joined GDHWD & Eberle in September of 2015.  She provides administrative assistance and customer service & sales support for True Value, Do It Best, Sears Holding, and Meijer.  Before joining GDHWD & Eberle Meghan worked for 8 years in the automotive industry.
